How to reset the user’s password?

In this article, you will learn how to reset the user's password from time to time. This time period is defined in the configuration section.

To ensure greater security for Botmaker platform users, you can configure the time after which users will have to reset their login password.

To do this, go to Configuration>Security, where you will have two options to define the frequency of password resetting for platform users:

Never : the password will not need to be changed.

Reset periodically : the password must be generated after the number of days defined in the configuration.

Note: This configuration is only valid for users created on the platform through the "mail" option. It does not apply to Gmail, Facebook, or Microsoft accounts.

Once the password has expired, the user will have to generate a new password to be able to enter the platform again, as shown in the image below:

This additional configuration will allow you to maintain security on the Botmaker platform and have better logins control.
