How to get your account verified?

A business account on WhatsApp can be classified either as a “Business Account” or an “Official Business Account”.
Regular Business Account
Any new account using WhatsApp Enterprise will be classified as a “Business Account”. Completing your company’s profile on the account creation form can help provide useful information to your customers. This may include the company’s website, address, and other useful information.
If your company sends a notification to a customer who does not have your compnay’s WhatsApp account of phone number in their contacts, the customer will be shown the following options. If they respond to the notification or add your contact, the box will disappear.
Contact card
It is possible to send contact cards through Botmaker. Create a new intent and use the “Send contact” action.
If you do this and the customer adds your contact information to their contact list, your company name will be visible to them on the customer’s WhatsApp app. This is a great tip for improving the customer experience.
Official Business Account
Obtaining an official business account means that WhatsApp has determined that a genuine owns the account in question. An “Official Business Account” has a green checkmark on its profile, next to its name on the header of the chat window. With this, the company’s official name is visible to the customer, even if they have not added the company to their contacts list.
At the time, only certain companies are classified as an “Official Business Account” on WhatsApp. Several factors play a part when classificating a company for this type of profile, such as whether the company’s brand is known. Using the WhatsApp official API does not guarantee that your account is an official business account.
Companies cannot apply and pay to convert their “Business Account” into an “Official Business Account”. Botmaker will carry out the verification request for your company once the account has been created.
Important: The status of the Business Manager where the account was created must be verified to proceed with the verification request.
