What is the Click to WhatsApp Dashboards feature about?
Click to WhatsApp Ads is a feature that allows ads on Facebook and Instagram to target a conversation in the app automatically. It facilitates a more interactive approach to the user, especially if your chatbot has a specific flow for the campaign such users are coming from. Click to WhatsApp Dashboards is the Botmaker product that allows you to analyze the performance of CTWA advertising campaigns.

What is Click to WhatsApp Ads? How do Click to WhatsApp Dashboards work on the Botmaker platform?
Click to WhatsApp is a call-to-action button on your Facebook and Instagram ads that, when clicked, opens a thread with your business WhatsApp number to talk to a customer service agent or chatbot. For more information about Ads, you can review Meta’s official documentation.
To use Click to WhatsApp Dashboards, you need to have one ad account and assign Botmaker as a partner, which will allow you to access the following reports:

Meta ad account overview: allows you to have an overview of the general performance of your account as a whole. Shows Meta metrics and insights added to Botmaker metrics (number of conversations generated and conversions within ChatBots).

Visualization and comparison of metrics in various time periods.

Granular detail by campaigns, including the same metrics mentioned above but specified per campaign.

The general performance of each campaign

Granular performance detail per Ad, including spend, ROI, conversations, and conversions.

Relation of Ads with user days, including a Sankey diagram for a global visualization of all existing days per campaign.

Creation of conversion funnels to detect possible improvements to conversational flows.
As important information, we highlight that you do not need to configure the feature since, when activated, it discovers, auto-detects, and auto-generates all the metrics and visualizations. If you require more detailed metrics, you can customize conversion events and generate your own funnels.
Some visualizations of general performance: Using these charts, you can compare metrics and time series for the entire business account.
1) Date filter
This period selector impacts the dashboard and allows you to select the most used periods or specify custom ranges up to 36 months (Meta´s limit).
2) Table of metrics broken down by campaign
Through this table, it is possible to compare campaigns with each other. By clicking on View Detail , it is possible to access the campaign analysis dashboard.
3) Campaign Analytics Dashboard
This dashboard has an initial display with the total campaign metrics in time series format, which allows metrics to be compared visually.
**4)**Table of metrics broken down by Ads
Within a campaign, it is possible to have different Ads. Here you can compare their metrics, perform searches, and customize the table. Additionally, it is possible to obtain a preview of the selected ad.
5) Journeys, conversations, and funnels
This first visualization shows all the days whose origin corresponds to an Ad referral (i.e. people who have clicked on a CTWA ad, and who have started a conversation with the Bot). This visualization is in Sankey format, a specific type of diagram to represent information, and gives an overview of all the days for that campaign.
Below you will find a table that shows some metrics about these days. From it, it is possible to see samples of the conversations that applied those journeys, and it is also possible to auto-generate conversion funnels to analyze each day in detail.
The journeys and funnels are made up of steps or events, reflecting each customer interaction in their conversation with the chatbot. These steps are the same blocks created in Bot Designer.
How do you integrate Click to WhatsApp Dashboards into the Botmaker platform?
To complete the integration, you must contact the support team or your account manager, who will guide you through Meta’s Business Manager to grant the necessary permissions.
As a first step, you must access your Business Manager. Next, in the section Assets>Advertising Accounts>Add Partner, your account manager will add Botmaker as a partner and grant read-only permissions.
